Making somthing all my life

- obsessive gardener, seamstress, self taught papermaker, printmaker, welder and amateur bee keeper independent art educator specializing in the art and history of hand papermakeing and the future of recycling
I like using plants, all sorts of different plants. Love to beat an invasive species to a pulp! Collecting and recycling papers to create texture "pulp fiction" articles of clothing, old quilts, jeans, pressed in to the pulps Some times embedded with dried flowers, ephereria, stitchery, printing, painting and a final coating of raw bees wax. My idea of a good days work. BEES WAX!!! It is fiberactive! Making papers translucent , so that my unique lighting is both "romantic and aromatic". Lately I have been welding old tools in to lamp bases for my bees wax coated handmade paper shades. I also make handmade paper gift items, books, candle covers, Throw and Grow(C), Plantable Seed Cards © and all sorts of custom stationery. If it can be made out of paper i would like to try.
